Amazon is seeking Inbound Area Managers for its Fulfillment Centers, focusing on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity. This role involves managing employees, balancing labor, supporting safety programs, and driving process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements.
Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient shifts.
Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance.
Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Work with Ops manager to identify improvement projects for the sites and drive projects.
Responsible for continual improvement, Process excellence and Standardization at site.
Direct management of employees and their performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
Experience with performance metrics and process improvement

Desired Qualifications

Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
