Responsibilities
- Assist with repairs using Volvo Standard Times and Special Tools.
- Participate in fault diagnosis processes.
- Learn and comply with warranty procedures.
- Collaborate with the parts team for correct parts fitting.
- Learn to use Volvo special tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with workshop cleaning.
- Ensure accurate time recording and job card completion.
- Report all vehicle defects to the workshop Supervisor.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Attend college courses regularly and achieve required standards.
- Attend provided technical or development training.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic individuals with a strong interest in heavy vehicles.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and a desire to learn.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality.
- Desired qualifications: GCSE A* to C/Grade 4 in Math and English.
- Must be able to attend block release training at Inspiro Heavy Vehicle Academy in Derby.
Desired Qualifications
- Apprenticeship level – Advanced Level Apprenticeship.
