Responsibilities
- Support customer tape-outs using PrimeTime, PrimeShield, PrimeClosure, and PrimePower, resolving timing, power, and sign-off issues.
- Drive adoption of new features through beta programs and proof-of-concept flows.
- Debug complex customer designs and work with R&D to deliver solutions.
- Capture customer requirements and propose product enhancements.
- Create and deliver technical training sessions and presentations.
- Collaborate with global applications engineering teams.
- Review product documentation and provide feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor design, with deep expertise in static timing analysis, power analysis, or physical design sign-off.
- Strong working knowledge of PrimeTime; experience with PrimeShield, PrimeClosure, or PrimePower is a plus.
- Proven ability to debug timing and power issues in complex SoC or ASIC designs, ideally in a customer-facing or applications engineering role.
- Solid scripting skills in Tcl, Python, or Perl for automation, flow development, and issue reproduction.
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical support, field applications, or consulting capacity.
- Ability to communicate complex technical tradeoffs clearly to both customer engineers and internal R&D teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.

- Proactive in creating demos and training materials.
- Comfortable admitting when knowledge is incomplete and following through to find answers.
- Ability to explain the value of new features to skeptical customers.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple engagements.
- Ability to push back constructively on vague requests or mismatched expectations while maintaining trust.
