Autoliv Thailand is looking for an Application Advanced Engineer in Chonburi. This role involves preparing engineering drawings, managing CAD work, leading design reviews, and supporting various engineering documentation and testing processes. The position requires cooperation with cross-functional teams and suppliers, problem-solving, and potential project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Engineering drawings when requested.
  • Perform CAD work using DraftSight or CATIA.
  • Manage data and CAD work communication.
  • Ensure all drawing-related tasks meet requirements.
  • Initiate and review Engineering documents (DFMEA, DGD, SC/CC List) following Autoliv Standards.
  • Generate CV/DV/PV test items according to customer and regulation requirements.
  • Lead Design Review with Cross Functional Team.
  • Mockup parts for Prototype events as per customer request.
  • Cooperate with Cross functional Teams concerning Design and Process.
  • Support the implementation of Autoliv CAD standards and Cushion CAD design guidelines.
  • Use the Autoliv tool PLM for drawing storage.
  • Support processes and implementation of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
  • Cooperate with Suppliers concerning Design and Process.
  • Solve and analyze problems efficiently.
  • Lead high-profile projects (High value/Short lead time/New customer).
  • Self-certify tasks and basic issues.
  • Mentor Application Engineers when needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Application Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience with CAD software like DraftSight or CATIA.
  • Proficiency in engineering documentation like DFMEA, DGD, SC/CC List.
  • Familiarity with customer and regulation requirements for CV/DV/PV test items.
  • Understanding of Autoliv CAD standards and Cushion CAD design guidelines.
  • Experience with PLM systems for drawing storage.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead design reviews and projects.
