Responsibilities

Designs and develops software across the stack for web applications and engineering tools.
Develops systems, integrations, APIs, and solutions focused on engineering.
Manages and tracks the software development process from development to production release.
Provides support for projects by completing tasks for back-end/front-end applications, associated integration, and required test harnesses.
Writes reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
Completes assigned technical tasks for system integrations and APIs.
Completes assigned technical tasks for the design, build, and deployment of pipelines that handle the software lifecycle.
Executes tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines.
Discusses issues within the project team to maintain open communication.
Networks with more senior IT Software Developers and seeks out learning opportunities.
Contributes to technical conversations with technical leads/managers.
Writes technical documentation for straightforward projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) OR Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical field and 1+ year of IT-relevant experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant experience.
2+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with programming (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of IT-relevant work experience.
Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of the general IT-related work experience.
