As a Network LAN/WAN Administrator in Madurai, India, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless network operations by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, conducting root cause analyses, and providing on-call support. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for LAN/WAN networking issues, troubleshooting incidents to meet SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis on escalated issues using diagnostic tools to identify and implement solutions.
- Update and manage the knowledge base, document resolutions, and share best practices for continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor new team members and analysts, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to standards.
- Optimize first call resolution rates and minimize case reopens to ensure positive customer experience and high CSAT scores.
Requirements
- Proficient in LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in network connectivity and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic software.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions independently.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, CoS, MPLS, MPLS/VPN, MP-BGP, TCP/IP, Quality of Service, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL.
- Experience with Network Security protocols including IPSec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, and firewalls.
- Understanding of Data Center Architecture (Network, Server, Storage).
Desired Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certifications are optional but valuable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of communicating with CIO, CXO level customers.
- Must be open for a 24x7 environment.
