Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and solutions by managing and troubleshooting Linux systems and Red Hat Satellite environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for escalated tickets, utilizing Linux command-line tools and logs to identify and resolve underlying issues effectively.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base for common issues and solutions in Linux and Red Hat environments, ensuring continuous improvement and easy access for team members.
  • Independently resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs, utilizing Red Hat Cluster for high-availability configurations and ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Enhance customer experience through first call resolution initiatives, aiming for high customer satisfaction scores and reducing the number of reopened cases.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Linux system administration with a strong understanding of Red Hat Satellite and Red Hat Cluster technologies.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to IT support and operations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Optional but valuable certifications: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
