Edwards India Private Ltd is looking for an A2R Accountant in Pune to manage accounting transactions, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in Indian accounting, including GST and Income Tax.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on time, in accordance with Group policies.
  • Coordinate financial control and oversight for sub-ledgers and general ledger accuracy.
  • Manage monthly group reporting, month-end closing, and timely submission of financial statements.
  • Provide Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide data and explanations for annual audits and local statutory accounts.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to business departments and controllers.
  • Contribute to compliance and internal control over accounting, taxation, and reporting processes.
  • Participate in process/systems improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • B.com/M.com, CA/ICWA Qualification
  • 3 to 5 years Indian Accounting General Ledger and Statutory Including GST and Income Tax Working Experience (Mandatory)
