Tetra Pak is seeking an Automation and Digital Business Development Specialist for the USCA market to drive business growth and promote Automation and Digital Solutions. This role involves supporting the sales strategy, engaging with prospects, and collaborating with account managers throughout the sales process. Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the Automation & Digital sales strategy for USCA.
- Drive proactive growth initiatives and differentiate the company's approach across local markets.
- Contribute to the go-to-market strategy for Automation & Digital Solutions, including localization and deployment of global initiatives.
- Engage prospects, understand customer needs, create opportunities, and increase awareness within the sales community.
- Support the entire sales process, from understanding customer needs to conveying value.
- Contribute to opportunity qualification, Pre-Project discussions, and commercial strategy development.
- Participate in sales meetings with Account Managers and customers, demonstrating value proposition and generating leads.
- Collaborate with local resources and global teams to share best practices and drive business growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, customers, and internal teams.
- Monitor, track, and report on key performance indicators, sales activities, and opportunity pipeline development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Proven experience in the industrial automation sector for food and beverage.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in sales support, portfolio management, and business development within Automation and Digital Solutions.
- Proven understanding of Operational Technology (OT) technologies such as PLCs, SCADAs, programming, and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), virtualization, and industrial network.
- Familiarity in the implementation of Automation and Digital solutions (PLC & HMI / MES / MOM / ERP Integration/ IIoT) is required.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience working with digital solutions and technologies across the full lifecycle—from value selling to implementation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Innovation and continuous improvement mindset.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge about Tetra Pak Automation Platform is a plus.
Benefits
- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $103,800 - $162,900
- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): CAD 110,800 - 142,300
- Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
