Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with XFT to design user-friendly and efficient software.
  • Create detailed design documentation and specifications based on requirements and feedback.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing software applications.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative features into software designs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and test engineers, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions.
  • Leverage AI tools, automation technologies, and AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery efficiency.
  • Continuously explore innovative ways of working and challenge existing solutions with an AI-native mindset.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, golang, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and staying current with industry trends.
  • Strong curiosity about emerging AI technologies and their application in software engineering.
  • Ability to effectively utilize AI-powered tools and assistants to enhance productivity, problem-solving, learning, and software development activities.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of software testing and quality assurance practices.
  • Previous internship or project experience in software design or development.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Kiro, or similar tools) in software design, coding, testing, or troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing, customizing, or improving AI agents, workflows, or automation solutions is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated AI-native thinking, including the ability to rethink traditional engineering processes and identify opportunities for significant efficiency improvements through AI and automation.
