• This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight

About this work area
As Visual Merchandising Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
• Creating inspiring and commercially relevant home furnishing solutions that improve people’s lives at home.
• Using your visual merchandising and design expertise to strengthen the IKEA identity through store layout, range presentation and customer experience.
• Planning, coordinating and delivering projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring deadlines and commercial objectives are met.
• Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the store to bring ideas to life and influence positive business outcomes.
• Communicating and presenting design concepts in a clear, engaging and commercially compelling way.
• Supporting a culture of collaboration by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback and contributing to team success.
• Being active and hands-on throughout the store, ensuring ideas are successfully executed to a high standard.
As Visual Merchandising Co-worker you are:
• Passionate about home furnishing and curious about how people live in their homes.
• A creative thinker with strong commercial visual competence and a keen eye for design and aesthetics.

• Experienced in visual merchandising, spatial planning, interior design or a similar discipline.
• Experienced using digital and design programs such as Microsoft Apps, Revit and/or SketchUp to develop concepts and turn ideas into reality.
• Practical and hands-on, with the ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
• A strong communicator who can build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable taking initiative, influencing others and driving projects to successful outcomes.
• Able to balance creative thinking, commercial priorities and operational execution to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Formally qualified in design, interior design, visual merchandising or a related field, or equivalent professional visual merchandising experience.
