We at WeQuel are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Linköping, where you become an important part of a cross-functional engineering team with a focus on vehicle data collection, recording, and analysis. You will design, develop, and support systems that enable efficient capture and processing of vehicle data for development, validation, and product release activities.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and development of software for vehicle data collection and recording systems

• New features and enhancements for performance, scalability, and usability

• Support of integration, validation, troubleshooting, and release activities

• Collaboration with platform, infrastructure, and product teams

• Investigation and resolution of issues in data collection and processing workflows

• Contribution to software architecture, technical design, and roadmap planning

• Quality assurance through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices

• Support of customer enablement and deployment activities

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your work forward while collaborating with multiple interfaces within the organization.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in software development with C++ on Linux

• Experience with software design, debugging, and system integration

• Strong understanding of multithreaded and distributed systems

• Proficiency with Git and modern software development practices

• Fluent English, spoken and written

• Analytical and structured approach with strong problem-solving skills

Meriting:

• Experience with data acquisition, telemetry, logging, or recording systems

• Familiarity with Ethernet, CAN, and other vehicle communication technologies

• Experience with Python and automation frameworks

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and data processing pipelines

Assignment details

• Start: August 2026

• End: September 2027, with good possibility of extension

• Location: Linköping

• Workload: 100% ONSITE
