Responsibilities

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using 8D/A3 methodologies and train others.
  • Drive the closure of Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA) with rigorous verification.
  • Work with APQP for structural quality assurance of products and processes.
  • Transform Control Plans & FMEA into prevention-focused blueprints.
  • Spearhead projects to enhance digital traceability from raw material to finished goods.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on proactive quality KPIs.
  • Develop and implement an Internal Supplier Quality Scorecard.
  • Establish Quality Agreements and lead quality reviews for incoming material.
  • Act as quality support in the industrialization of new products and equipment.
  • Proactively communicate quality goals, wins, and learnings.
  • Identify and lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (Industrial, Metallurgical, Mechanical or related).
  • 3-5 years in quality engineering within an engineered to order manufacturing environment.
  • Essential Mindset: proactive, system-thinking problem-solver striving for operational excellence.
  • Collaborative coach capable of influencing without formal authority.
  • Experience in cultural change initiatives is a major plus.
  • Expert in quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC), preferred.
  • Skilled in RCA methodologies and data analysis (Minitab, Excel), preferred.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate data into compelling stories for action, preferred.
  • ISO-9001 and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), preferred.
  • Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt, preferred.
  • High 5S standard, preferred.
