Responsibilities

  • Participate in the installation, commissioning, and performance testing of nuclear power plant valves, ensuring compliance with design specifications (ASME, RCC-M, etc.).
  • Develop valve installation plans, supervise construction, and ensure process quality and safety.
  • Inspect nuclear power valve equipment, identify potential failures, and develop maintenance plans.
  • Perform valve disassembly, repair, and replacement of parts to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Handle emergency failures, locate problems, and propose solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers on valve selection, operation, and maintenance.
  • Analyze valve operation data, suggest optimizations, and participate in technical transformation projects.
  • Write service reports, fault analysis records, and operation manuals.
  • Adhere to nuclear safety laws (HAF601, NRC requirements) and radiation protection regulations.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and safety departments for full life cycle valve management.
  • Provide training on valve usage and maintenance to customers or operators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related majors.
  • More than three years of working experience in valve service or nuclear equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with the structure and principle of nuclear valves (e.g., gate valves, stop valves, safety valves).
  • Familiarity with valve-related standards (ASME, GB/T, etc.) and nuclear industry specifications.
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in nuclear power plants or nuclear power equipment suppliers is preferred.
  • Capability for process improvement.
