Responsibilities

  • Optimization of cycle times for machining centers and lathes.
  • Implement SMED to reduce setup times by defining standards, correct tools, and quick change devices.
  • Work with Geometric Tolerances/GD&T.
  • Utilize software to support setup processes.
  • Undertake projects to increase output through process automation.
  • Develop procedures related to process engineering.
  • Work with machining centers (Lathe, CNC, milling machine, drills, rotary tables, etc.) and their tools.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in process engineering within the metal mechanics industry.
  • Knowledge in SMED for reducing setup times.
  • Knowledge in Geometric Tolerances/GD&T.
  • Experience using software to support setup.
  • Experience with projects for increasing output via process automation.
  • Knowledge of ISO-9001-218 system.
  • Experience with CNC software, Pulsers for OEE data.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
  • Proficiency in MasterCam and CamWorks.
  • Intermediate English capable of holding a fluid conversation.

Desired Qualifications
