Job Summary

 System Administration: Manage and maintain HPUX and Linux servers, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability and performance. • Security: Ensure systems are secure by implementing best practices and regular updates. • Backup and Recovery: Manage backup and recovery processes to protect data integrity and availability. • Capacity Planning: Perform capacity planning to ensure systems can handle current and future demands. • Collaboration: Work with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve complex issues

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements

Linux & HPUX Expertise: Strong experience with Linux & HPUX operating systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, and Python. • Networking: Knowledge of networking protocols and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, NFS). • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM). • Security: Understanding of security best practices and tools. • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Other Requirements

 Certifications: Relevant certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), CompTIA Linux+. • Experience: 10+ years of experience in system administration, particularly with Linux & HPUX environments.
