Responsibilities
- Utilize MRP/ERP and issue the majority of company purchase orders for the shop/engineering/service including consumables and MRO products
- Manage the warehouse for storage of rental fleet spares, including the warehouse clerk
- Resolve and assist Accounts Payable with invoice discrepancies
- Review and issue Change Orders as needed
- Track and maintain acknowledgements and purchase orders and incoming goods
- Ensure all materials are On-Time; adjust purchase orders and report late deliveries
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience working as a buyer
- Must manage and resolve internal and external issues and questions as required
- Ability to manage changes as needed or as directed
- Builds and maintains effective relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, utilize cell phone and use company provided laptop
- Verbal and email communication skills are a must for this role
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365
