Responsibilities
- Conduct general mechanical and auto electrical duties, including maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on all Sandvik Mining equipment.
- Execute mechanical and auto electrical maintenance tasks according to maintenance plans, ensuring the integrity and safe operation of the equipment.
- Provide feedback to enhance maintenance planning and efficiency.
- Maintain meticulous records of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time logs.
- Adhere strictly to all policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on EHS policies.
Requirements
- Based near Orange, NSW.
- Australian recognized Mechanical or Auto Electrical Trade Certification.
- Demonstrated experience with trucks, loaders, and drilling mobile mining equipment (advantageous).
- Strong and proven safety culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Motivation and determination to achieve targets and goals.
- Proactive, self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Class C Manual Driver’s License.
- Right to live and work in Australia.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Underground (UG) Loaders, UG Trucks, UG Drills and Surface Drill repairs.
