Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive workforce privacy strategies, embedding "Privacy by Design" into people operations roadmaps and AI-enabled user journeys.
  • Analyze evolving global regulations, including GDPR and the EU AI act.
  • Update internal policies and HR frameworks to ensure seamless compliance and mitigate potential risks across different operational landscapes.
  • Manage complex, high-impact privacy initiatives across global markets.
  • Track timelines, mitigate cross-functional risks, and utilize key performance indicators to measure program health, drive accountability, and ensure all deliverables meet strategic goals.
  • Serve as the primary lead for high-priority privacy escalations and regulatory inquiries.
  • Conduct thorough cross-functional investigations to resolve complex issues with speed and transparency.
  • Bridge different perspectives across Legal, Compliance, and HR Engineering to unify data management strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive communication plans, keeping leadership informed of critical risks and mitigation paths.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in privacy, compliance, risk management, or legal.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Data Privacy, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or CISA).
  • Experience working on workforce/HR data or global employee populations.
  • Experience providing privacy guidance for AI/Machine Learning products.
  • Ability to translate complex legal requirements into technical specifications and scalable operational workflows.
