Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct all activities of the raw material, MRO, and finished product warehouses.
- Plan and optimize receipts, transfers, allocation, storage, distribution, and assortment to production areas.
- Ship finished products or subassemblies to internal and external clients.
- Implement inventory controls for physical, MRP, and customs (Prisma) systems.
- Define and implement practices for personnel well-being and safety.
- Define warehouse space requirements and picking service levels based on SIOP.
- Execute write-offs promptly.
- Lead the Annual physical Inventory.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in warehouse management and/or materials management.
- Proven experience in project management.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, management, or supply chain.
- Proficiency in resource optimization, manpower, and cost.
- Experience in using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools, as well as related improvement projects.
- Understanding of the flow of manufactured or purchased parts and materials and their effect on shortage control.
- Experience working under the ISO-9000 standard.
- Ability to lead and coordinate personnel effectively and develop work teams.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in using ERP systems (Oracle).
- Understanding of cost drivers in manufacturing operations.
