As a Warehouse Assistant in Singapore, you will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and accurate SAP transactions. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and physical condition.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials for customer deliveries.
- Perform timely and accurate SAP transactions for inventory management.
- Maintain accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials in SAP.
- Investigate inventory variances and support corrective actions.
- Operate barcode scanning tools for material traceability.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain orderly storage of parts and packing materials.
- Support and report spare parts and equipment inventory.
- Report damaged or missing inventory promptly.
- Ensure items are stored in good condition and properly maintained.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts to move goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in warehouse and yard areas.
- Participate in stock counts and support audits.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Warehouse, Store, or a related field.
- Experience with the SAP system is essential.
- Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong English skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, and safe material handling practices.
- Possession of at least a Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in inventory control, material handling, and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Forklift operating experience is preferred; a valid forklift license is beneficial.
- Familiarity with bar code scanning technology.
- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in planning and distribution functions.
- Effective collaboration with vendors and internal support teams.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
