HCLTech is seeking a Senior LAN Network Engineer to serve as a Track Lead for Network LAN/WAN roles. This position involves advanced troubleshooting, managing complex switching environments, and leading automation initiatives in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
Responsibilities
- Act as L3 escalation point for critical LAN incidents.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across campus networks.
- Support large-scale Cisco and Aruba switching environments.
- Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
- Manage Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) for device onboarding, provisioning, assurance, and image management.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring infrastructure issues.
- Implement permanent corrective actions and maintain technical knowledge articles.
- Plan and execute IOS-XE upgrades and switch refresh initiatives.
- Conduct validation and rollback testing for software upgrades.
- Perform capacity forecasting, utilization analysis, and performance optimization.
- Oversee vulnerability remediation, security advisory reviews, and configuration compliance audits.
- Support network segmentation.
- Develop network automation using Python scripting and Ansible.
- Integrate with DNAC API for automation.
