We are seeking a Temporary Operator for our manufacturing facility in Chennai, India. This full-time, on-site role involves daily work in assembly and coil shops, operating machinery like winding, molding, and welding machines, and utilizing testing equipment. The position requires flexibility, adherence to quality and safety standards, and a willingness to work in shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operations comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Perform daily work in the assembly and coil shops per schedule.
- Conduct product assembly and operate basic equipment.
- Set up and operate Winding machine, Spot welding machine, and Molding machine.
- Set up and operate Automatic testing equipment for coil and assembly shops.
- Rotate responsibilities within the position as needed.
- Adhere to all quality standards.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement events like Kaizen.
Requirements
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- 0-2 years of experience in operating Assembly & Testing equipment.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis.
- Ability to lift up to 3 Kilograms.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
Desired Qualifications
- B.E/B. Tech /Diploma /ITI or any degree.
