Seeking a Technical Buyer to manage supplier relationships, ensure quality, price, and delivery standards, and lead negotiations and purchasing projects. This hybrid role, based in Montecchio Maggiore, Italy, offers a permanent contract and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a network of suppliers to support current and strategic goals.
  • Steer supplier selection processes with cost analyses (TCO).
  • Lead negotiations and negotiate supply agreements.
  • Identify product and/or process optimizations for cost reductions.
  • Follow up on supplier performance and implement continuous improvement plans.
  • Work on new product development projects with the Engineering department.
  • Lead purchasing projects.

Requirements

  • Preferably an engineer or economic graduate with experience in manufacturing companies.
  • 1-2 years as a purchasing agent (strategic sourcing) in a multinational corporate environment is a plus.
  • Work or academic experience abroad is appreciated.
  • Profound knowledge of Italian and English.
  • Dynamic personality with creative problem-solving skills.
  • High level of administrative accuracy.
  • Ability to motivate people and achieve goals under pressure.
  • Prepared to travel.
  • Ability to organize work independently according to priorities.
  • Excellent ability to work in a team.

  • Experience in manufacturing companies.
  • Work or academic experience abroad.
