Responsibilities
- Capture, analyze, and manage stakeholder and system requirements
- Develop system concepts, architectures, and high-level designs
- Define system interfaces and ensure effective integration across disciplines
- Evaluate technical solutions and support selection of major system components
- Ensure system designs satisfy functional, performance, safety, and quality requirements
- Support system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance activities
- Participate in technical reviews, design decisions, and engineering risk management
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Systems Engineering methods, processes, and tools
- Support the adoption of Model Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering where applicable
- Contribute to systems safety, test strategy, and technical planning activities, depending on the project
Requirements
- Experience in Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline (e.g., Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Maritime, or Industrial Systems)
- Understanding of how complex systems are developed
- Ability to work across organizational and technical boundaries
- Ability to think holistically while maintaining attention to technical detail
- Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to take ownership and work in a structured and proactive manner
- Ability to build trust through collaboration and technical credibility
- Ability to be motivated by continuous learning and engineering excellence
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service
- Minimum of 7 years of residency within NATO/EU
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with requirements management, system architecture, integration, verification, lifecycle management, or MBSE is considered an advantage
