  • Partner with Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations to embed early supplier involvement in New Product Development.
  • Influence continuous-improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) across the supplier base.
  • Provide reporting and trend analysis on supplier quality to senior leadership.
  • Lead supplier audits, forums, and workshops across Europe.
  • Champion sustainable and ethical supplier practices, reviewing labor standards and environmental performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ progressive experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or manufacturing (or 6 years with a Master’s degree).
  • Recognized subject-matter expertise in Quality Systems & Tools (PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, 8D, SPC).
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (approx. 30%).

  • Certified auditor (e.g., ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 lead auditor).
  • Six Sigma / Lean qualification (Green or Black Belt preferred) and proven continuous-improvement delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently on complex issues.
  • Experience coaching, guiding, or delegating to less-experienced quality professionals without formal people-management responsibility.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing suppliers and customers in an international environment.

Benefits

  • Influence policy and process design.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
  • Work in a global leader in automation technology and software.
  • Contribute to making the world healthier, safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
