Responsibilities
- Audit processes and correct paper flow errors to investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Manage inventory and reverse logistics areas to improve material handling, increase velocity, and drive asset recovery value.
- Establish processes and schedules to ensure compliance with corporate accounting objectives and oversee daily team operations.
- Maintain accurate cycle count records, report findings, define countermeasures, and drive corrective actions.
- Apply corporate inventory policies, investigate inventory adjustments, and oversee corrective actions for product quality control inquiries.
- Coordinate the sale and disposition of products for the secondary sales market.
- Reduce process lead times to increase inventory velocity and maximize space utilization.
- Deliver and report on Inventory and Reverse Logistics Key Performance Indicators.
- Develop and publish routine performance reports for department and distribution center metrics.
- Lead root cause analysis for damage, inventory, and scrap reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product packaging design and recovery of finished goods assets.
- Implement and provide feedback on guidelines, processes, and policies for standardization, efficiency, and simplification.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control and reverse logistics within warehouse operations or distribution logistics.
- Experience with SAP and familiarity with WMS applications preferred.
- Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
