Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for major kitchen appliances, from initial concept to final production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing.
- Develop designs that adhere to Electrolux’s Visual Brand Language (VBL).
- Utilize user research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to inform design decisions.
- Create high-quality sketches, 3D models, and prototypes.
- Evaluate materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and design practices.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a creative and collaborative team environment.
- Be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Requirements
- Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant design or engineering field.
- Relevant experience in home appliance products or automotive industries with a proven track record of excellent design performance.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centered product designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino and KeyShot.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost implications.
- Excellent sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Experience applying AI tools and technologies to enhance the design process.
- Advanced English.
