Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise WLAN services.
- Support wireless user connectivity and troubleshoot authentication failures.
- Manage guest wireless services and SSID administration.
- Support Cisco 9800 Wireless Controllers, Access Points, and Wireless Assurance.
- Provide support for Aruba Central, Mobility Controllers, Access Points, and AirWave.
- Resolve wireless incidents and assist the L1 team.
- Troubleshoot client issues and support roaming investigations.
- Escalate RF-related and complex issues to L3.
- Perform SSID provisioning, AP deployment support, and controller configuration updates.
- Implement WLAN policies.
- Monitor controller availability and validate AP health.
- Support firmware compliance and assist in wireless performance reporting.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Wireless Operations experience.
- Experience supporting Cisco or Aruba wireless networks.
- Good understanding of WLAN fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Cisco WLC 9800 and Cisco Access Points.
- Experience with Aruba Central and Aruba Controllers.
- Skilled in WLAN Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of WPA2/WPA3.
- Understanding of 802.1X Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with RADIUS Basics.
Desired Qualifications
- CCNA Wireless / Enterprise certification.
- Aruba ACA certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
