We are seeking a detail-oriented SOX Reconciliation Analyst to enhance reconciliation capabilities across the company. This role involves building and maintaining reconciliations, supporting existing processes, and identifying areas for improvement through automation. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, along with hands-on SOX experience and strong analytical skills, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis of reconciliation exceptions to identify trends and root causes.
  • Complete tasks independently using a wide range of systems, tools, and procedures.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance billing and reconciliation efficiency, accuracy, and control.
  • Contribute to the development of reports and metrics related to workflow improvement and performance analysis.
  • Proactively analyze key work drivers and identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation.
  • Conduct daily account reconciliations to resolve breaks or direct them to appropriate owners.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance reconciliations that support teams across the company.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support reconciliation initiatives, projects, deadlines, and continuous change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accountant or related area.
  • Hands-on SOX experience.
  • Experience in reconciliation activities within a similar industry, such as telecommunications, financial services, SaaS, or utilities.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A detail-oriented approach and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
