Responsibilities
- Proactively engage C-suite stakeholders (CEOs, COOs, CTOs) to position Seco as a strategic partner.
- Partner with Regional Sales to extend contacts into executive relationships and lead value-based conversations.
- Translate executive discussions into structured opportunity hypotheses, defining customer challenges and value pools.
- Identify latent demand and shape opportunities before formal RFQ stages.
- Build and maintain a robust, strategically aligned Solva pipeline and drive progression.
- Maintain clear pipeline visibility and reporting, focusing on high-value opportunities.
- Support commercial development and value capture.
- Nurture relationships with Regional Sales, Business Development, Project Leads, Engineering, and other internal/external teams.
- Maintain awareness of relevant offerings and enable commercial collaboration.
- Prioritize accounts and tailor value propositions within strategic segments (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Energy, Defense).
- Develop entry strategies, map customer stakeholder ecosystems, and unlock multi-site opportunities.
- Assess market trends and potential growth segments.
- Capture insights from executive interactions on strategic priorities, investment trends, and competitive positioning.
- Share insights with Business Development and Offer Development teams.
- Contribute to market-facing thought leadership.
- Represent Seco professionally with customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Take ownership of high-quality execution, transparent reporting, and ethical commercial practices.
- Continue developing knowledge of customer operations, strategic segments, Solva offerings, and manufacturing technologies.
Requirements
- Proven track record in new business development or hunting roles.
- Substantial experience engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers.
- Strong machining or manufacturing engineering background.
- Consulting or advisory experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build a qualified pipeline from scratch.
- Experience developing opportunities in industrial, manufacturing, or solution-based environments.
- Experience shaping value-based solutions.
- Experience qualifying opportunities and collaborating through proposal and contractual stages.
- Strong market awareness.
- Senior-level customer engagement experience in areas such as Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Energy, or Defense.
- Strong executive presence and the confidence to engage and influence C-suite and senior decision-makers.
- Advanced value-based selling skills.
- Strong drive to create and develop new business.
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen.
- Ability to recognize value pools and shape compelling solution opportunities.

Desired Qualifications
- A university degree or equivalent higher education in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal education.
