Responsibilities
- Building, leading, and growing diverse, inclusive, high-performing engineering product teams (recruiting, mentoring, performance management).
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (customers, product managers, stakeholders, leaders) for successful product delivery.
- Timely execution and prioritization of team goals and effective risk mitigation.
- Strategic leadership to create product roadmaps and set team vision.
- Technical leadership, including architecture and design discussions, and technical deep dives for complex issue resolution.
Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, livesite operations).
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing Software Engineer teams.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and their application in software development.
