This role is responsible for IT asset management and governance, including updating the IT asset inventory and ensuring data accuracy. It also involves managing obsolescence and risks, maintaining infrastructure documentation, and ensuring resilience, backup, and continuity strategies are in place. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in IT infrastructures, CMDBs, and security, along with excellent soft skills in communication and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous update of the IT asset inventory (hardware, operating systems, PCs, screens, printers, network devices, etc.) within the Group CMDBs.
- Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of asset data.
- Organize and lead a formal quarterly review of the asset inventory.
- Produce monthly reporting on the overall asset landscape (coverage, obsolescence, compliance).
- Identify obsolete, unsupported, or vulnerable assets.
- Define, track, and contribute to remediation plans (replacement, upgrade, retirement).
- Work closely with IT and Cybersecurity teams to reduce exposure to vulnerabilities.
- Ensure that all IT infrastructures are properly referenced in Group tools and documented.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation (architecture, dependencies, ownership, SLAs).
- Define, formalize, and maintain a clear resilience and backup testing strategy for each infrastructure.
- Ensure that backup strategies are properly documented and restore/resilience tests are performed, tracked, and reported.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans (BCP/DRP).
- Organize and coordinate DRT for Apps & Infra.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructures (end-user devices, servers, networks, systems).
- Experience with CMDBs and IT Service Management tools.
- Solid knowledge of security, obsolescence, resilience, and backup topics.
- Comfortable with reporting, KPIs, and IT governance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments (infrastructure, security, support).
- Clear and structured written communication (documentation and reporting).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
