Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex logistics and transportation projects from conception to delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and dependencies, and track progress against key metrics.
- Remove obstacles to accelerate project completion.
- Understand business processes and workflows with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop functional specifications/requirements documents.
- Recommend alternative technical approaches and lead engineering efforts to meet constrained timelines.
- Work with software and operations teams to launch projects and provide ongoing technical support.
- Track and review program updates with stakeholders and leaders.
- Facilitate technical trade-offs between short term team needs and long term business needs.
- Manage multiple projects or large challenging projects to meet business and/or organization goals.
- Drive simplification and efficiencies in engineering and/or complex architectures.
- Act as the primary conduit for gathering requirements for enhancements, and develop demos and technical collateral.
- Work as the product owner and define roadmap in association with stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 4+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Exposure to software product architecture solutioning and design
