Autoliv seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for its Brasov Electronics Tech Center, focusing on Safety area innovations like Active Seatbelts and Steering Wheels. The role involves defining system and product requirements according to development methods and safety standards, managing requirements in DOORS, and ensuring traceability with customer requirements. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and review technical system, hardware and software requirements.
  • Communicate, organize, plan, and interact with internal work teams and project stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Break down and refine product requirements, supporting the definition of specific requirements and architectures with Development & Engineering groups.
  • Manage requirements in respective tools (DOORS).
  • Implement and maintain the traceability of internal requirements with the customer’s requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
  • Relevant experience in systems engineering or as a feature/function owner in the electronics industry, automotive focus preferred.
  • Good understanding of system elements on vehicle level for features (Electrical, Software, Mechanical engineering).
  • Expertise in requirements management tools (DOORS), requirements analysis and writing proficiency.
