WeQuel is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with Java expertise for a client in Stockholm. The role involves full-stack development (Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript), cloud operations on Azure, and contributing to team growth. You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to build and maintain critical customer service applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, further develop, and manage system support for customer service.
  • Contribute to the entire application stack, focusing on frontend and backend development.
  • Work with operations, security, observability, and CI/CD.
  • Collaborate with business, developers, architects, and operations.
  • Establish and develop backend competence within the team.
  • Contribute to technical decisions and ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Be a technical leader, inspiring, coaching, and developing others.
  • Drive technical decisions and build API/microservices focusing on performance, security, and availability.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 10 years of development experience.
  • Several years of experience leading design and development of complex backend solutions in Java/Spring Boot.
  • Very good full-stack competence with experience in Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript.
  • Experience developing modern web applications and frontend architectures.
  • Experience building and developing APIs and microservices.
  • Documented experience with distributed systems, API design, integrations, microservice architecture, test automation, code quality, and technical improvements.
  • Deep competence in Azure and cloud-native platforms (AKS/Kubernetes, containerization, GitOps, CI/CD, IaC).
  • Very good understanding of operations, observability, and security in production environments.
  • Experience working in large organizations with many integrations and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of modern development practices (component libraries, design systems, SRE, event-driven architecture, modern testing tools).
