HCLTech is seeking a Senior Administrator for Network LAN/WAN in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. This role focuses on DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and NTP operations, including administration, troubleshooting, and support for various platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Administer internal and external DNS environments, create/modify/remove DNS records, manage DNS zones and delegations, and support recursive/authoritative DNS services.
  • Troubleshoot DNS resolution issues and support Route53 and Azure DNS operational activities.
  • Create and maintain DHCP scopes, manage reservations and exclusions, and support DHCP failover services.
  • Troubleshoot IP allocation issues, monitor lease utilization, and support IPAM-related service requests.
  • Support monitoring platforms including Infoblox Reporting & Analytics, SolarWinds, Splunk, LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes, ServiceNow Event Management, and iObserve.
  • Monitor alerts and events, perform preliminary event analysis, escalate critical alerts, and support service restoration activities.
  • Update DNS and DHCP documentation, maintain IPAM accuracy, support CMDB updates, and document implementation and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of DNS/DHCP/IPAM support experience.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments.
  • Understanding of ITIL Incident and Change Management.
  • DNS Fundamentals, Recursive DNS, Authoritative DNS, DNS Delegation.
  • Route53, Azure DNS
  • DHCP Scopes, DHCP Relay, IPv4, IPv6, IP Address Management.
  • NTP Administration, Windows Time Services.
  • Experience with Infoblox DDI, Microsoft DNS, Microsoft DHCP.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Splunk, LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Exposure to cloud DNS services preferred.
  • Infoblox Certified DDI Professional (CDDI) is preferred.
  • Microsoft Administrator Certification is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
  • BlueCat DDI (Basic Operations) knowledge is preferred.
  • Cygna labs DNS/DHCP knowledge is preferred.
