Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of the new Service Sales operating model, ensuring alignment with Division and Business Area strategy and KPIs.
- Design, optimize, and continuously adapt sales territories to maximize market coverage.
- Lead the generational transition of the sales organization through effective knowledge transfer, talent development, and succession planning.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor Sales Engineers.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to strengthen service sales capabilities.
- Set clear, measurable objectives aligned with business priorities and growth ambitions.
- Integrate distributors into the Service Sales strategy, establishing clear ownership, objectives, and development plans.
- Foster strong collaboration between direct and indirect sales teams.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic account plans to increase customer retention, service penetration, and long-term business value.
- Promote cross-selling, upselling, recurring service agreements, and lifecycle solutions.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and execution discipline.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Leverage sales analytics, CRM tools, and business dashboards to identify trends, monitor performance, and drive data-based decision-making.
- Simplify processes allowing Sales Engineers to focus on customer development and revenue generation.
- Support the sales team in key customer visits and negotiations.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and business practices.
- Collaborate closely with Service Operations, Customer Support, Product Management, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience in Industrial Service Sales, driving business growth, customer development, and commercial results.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, with equivalent professional experience considered.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving sales transformation initiatives.
- Strategic mindset with strong customer focus.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented with strong execution discipline.
- Analytical thinking and sound decision-making.
- Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong coaching and training capabilities to build high-performing sales teams.
- Ability to lead change and organizational transformation.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional consultative selling, or people development is desirable.
- English level B1 or equivalent is considered an advantage.
