This full-time, on-site Repair Operator III position on the 1st shift in Springfield, TN supports the manufacturing production line. The role involves repairing gas and electric ranges, troubleshooting functional defects, and handling complex repair tasks while ensuring product quality and timely delivery. Responsibilities
- Repairs gas and electric ranges to support production of high-quality products.
- Troubleshoots functional defects.
- May backfill for associates repairing workmanship errors.
- Understands basic A.C-R600.
- Capable of handling complex tasks and repairing units in a timely manner while moving down the line.
- Ability to communicate with Team Members and Production Supervisor.
Requirements
- Math Level 1
- Able to read and write English to understand repair procedures and wiring schematics.
- Must obtain Brazer Certification within first 30 days in role.
- Ability to communicate with Team Members and Production Supervisor.
- Flexible to rotate positions with other Repair Operators or other positions as needed.
- Familiar with small tools for repairing.
- Must be capable to learn how to repair cabinets and doors (Cosmetic & Electrical).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience preferred with basic A.C-R600.
- Ability to lift packages 40 lbs. or less on a consistent basis.
- Ability to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
- Ability to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending.
- Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet.
