Electrolux seeks a Head of Region APAC Controlling & Business Planning based in Bangkok, Thailand. This role involves providing financial analysis and driving strategic financial processes, managing a team of analysts, and collaborating with leadership to ensure financial targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide and present financial results and analysis on current and forecasted business performance to the APAC Leadership team.
- Advise on action steps to ensure delivery of financial targets and commitments.
- Serve as the main interface with Group Business Controlling teams, providing accurate business metrics.
- Drive the Budget & Strategic Planning process for the Region, including specific reports like BA Financial Letter, ELT decks & Board Financial information.
- Improve Forecasts & Budget processes and manage CAPEX controls and investment processes.
- Identify and develop business opportunities, translate them into business area targets, and support M&A studies.
- Lead a team of business analysts and a reporting center of excellence.
- Ensure functional skills development for direct reports and the controlling community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business and/or management.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Controlling and/or Business Planning.
- Experience in driving large projects and change management with senior stakeholders.
- Good communication skills, ability to set clear objectives and direction, and interact with different functions and levels.
- Agile mindset, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a focus on driving and delivering results.
- Collaborative approach, comfortable working in a matrix environment.
- Credible and influential with strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Experience working in regional management teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Digitally mind-oriented, curious about new tools and ways of working, with experience in digital tools deployment.
