As a Quality Engineer in Richmond, VA, you will ensure high standards in manufacturing processes and products, conduct audits, and manage non-conformities. This role involves leading quality improvement projects and promoting continuous improvement aligned with the company's Quality Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop quality objectives complementary to corporate and PG goals and implement plans and strategies to achieve those objectives.
  • Direct and perform all operations-related activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (ASME, ABS PED, 3A, ISO 9001).
  • Coordinate and manage calibration for Richmond Operations.
  • Serve as liaison to ASME and 3rd party inspection and audits.
  • Support welding processes and inspection methods.
  • Coordinate and support customer surveys, audits and PPAP requests.
  • Plan and conduct inspections, measurements, and/or tests to assure product quality.
  • Coordinate and drive continuous improvement activities or projects addressing quality related problems and improvements.
  • Coordinate training of key people in the organization in regulatory or customer requirements related to quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Heat exchangers and Fluid handling products.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tool.
  • Project management, process analysis, and process improvement experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Lean manufacturing / ALPS (preferred).
