As a Project Supplier Quality Advanced Engineer at Autoliv China Headoffice, you will be responsible for driving supplier quality from development to production using APQP, PPAP, audits, and problem-solving methodologies. You will manage supplier development processes, own the 8D and NCM resolution, and ensure suppliers meet quality and timing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in TFC and Contract Review meetings to identify potential supplier risks.
- Define CLD and implement necessary audits to supplier processes at different phases.
- Track and check supplier APQP progress, ensuring components meet quality and timing plans.
- Define PPAP submission levels and content, perform validation, and ensure approval.
- Perform run at rate and early containment of supplier production.
- Manage supplier problem-solving processes before PPAP.
- Manage the development process of supplier projects for owned segments.
- Own the 8D and NCM process from D4 to closure.
- Involve in TFC and CTS processes with Purchasing, Engineering, and Suppliers.
- Define SQP tasks based on CLD and PPAP level.
- Follow up on SQP tasks for timing and quality.
- Lead supplier production trial runs and participate in Run at Rate.
- Perform audits and PFMEA go and see as applicable for new projects.
- Define Incoming Inspection/DAR templates and manage IIP at the supplier.
- Own PPAP approval.
- Escalate SQP delays/deviations.
- Perform Yokoten and initiate global actions with other Segment SQ.
- Contribute to ALV electronic supplier management procedures, Master PFMEA, and S-MPS creation.
- Execute supplier audits.
- Support other divisions with onsite supplier activities.
- Manage supplier rating and appropriate escalation.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, audits, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with TFC, Contract Review, and CLD definition.
- Knowledge of PPAP validation and approval processes.
- Experience with run at rate and early containment.
- Proficiency in managing supplier problem-solving.
- Experience in supplier project development and approval.
- Ownership of 8D and NCM processes.
- Involvement in CTS processes.
- Ability to define SQP tasks.
- Experience with supplier audits and PFMEA.
- Experience defining Incoming Inspection/DAR templates.
- Understanding of supplier rating and escalation procedures.
- Familiarity with AS002, AS051, AS404, AS412, AS007, AS404, AS100, AS069 standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in supplier onsite activities.
- Contribution to ALV electronic supplier management procedure.
- Creation and governance of Specific Master PFMEA and S-MPS.
