Project Manager responsible for leading medium R&D development projects, ensuring products meet lifecycle costs and quality standards. This role involves managing stakeholders, budgets, and risks, and driving continuous improvement for products and the company.
Responsibilities
- Define maximizing the value of the product based on stakeholder inputs and develop/implement a risk management plan.
- Manage the team budget and deliver the most value for the given budget, meeting financial requirements.
- Ensure the quality of the product delivered and released from the scrum team, including securing governance endorsements.
- Execute prioritized corrective actions related to released products.
- Support Product Manager in developing and executing communication plans for backlog-related external stakeholders and customers.
- Communicate team mandate to contribute to the Company strategy.
- Keep the Team Backlog updated with all needs, requirements, and improvements of the product.
- Prioritize the Team Backlog and collaborate with the Development Team for understanding, buy-in, and execution.
- Have a high presence in the team to support them during execution, participating in Scrum events.
- Have the sole authority to accept a user story as done.
- Participate in Sprint Reviews and other Scrum and Agile Programme events.
- Contribute to Programme backlog refinement and participate in other Programme events.
- Develop strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in decision-making and execution, risk management, negotiation, and conflict management.
- Report to Senior management through the Product Tollgate Review (PTR)/internal governance on a regular basis.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of seniority and experience in managing medium to high complex system level projects.
- Experience developing solutions across different sub-systems (Equipment, Package, Digital, IT, Top Issue, materials, base materials, service, Processing).
- Experience with stakeholder management at different organizational levels.
- Experience managing medium financial risk and impact, or budget/investment responsibility.
- Experience translating Product vision into a Product Backlog, considering input from Product Manager and internal requirements, tollgates, and long lead time activities.
- Experience collaborating with Product Manager to secure items in the Product Backlog.
- Experience encouraging the team to organize and plan work to deliver according to expectations and demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset, in collaboration with Scrum Master and/or Program Scrum Master.
