Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end execution of large-scale engineering and process project orders.
- Manage project opportunities from RFQ evaluation, through engineering and manufacturing, to site execution and payment collection.
- Apply PMP methodologies to define project charters, execute risk management plans, and track milestones.
- Coordinate with customers, business units, and factories to finalize design specifications and production planning.
- Monitor manufacturing progress, manage change orders, and coordinate inspections.
- Manage project billing milestones, documentation submission, and contract execution.
- Serve as the single point of contact for senior project directors and engineering heads at EPC firms and key asset owners.
- Lead project progress review meetings, manage conflict resolution, and client expectations.
- Maintain a proactive project risk register and monitor project cash flows.
- Lead cross-functional coordination with local sales, factory operations, procurement, and engineers.
Requirements
- Mandatory active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation).
- 8 to 12 years of core project management experience.
- Experience handling high-value industrial project execution (contracts worth 1m+ Euro).
- Experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Power, or heavy process sectors in India.
- Deep understanding of complex EPC contract conditions, liquidated damages (LD) clauses, bank guarantees (BG/PBG), and commercial documentation requirements in India.

- Strong commercial focus, treating final payment collection and cash-flow management as core project success metrics.
- Exceptional ability to drive execution across diverse teams without direct line authority.
- Highly organized mindset capable of breaking down highly complex, multi-year engineering projects into trackable, actionable milestones.
