ABB is seeking a Project Engineer in Bangalore Rural, India, to act as a design authority for low to medium complexity engineering tasks within the Automation segment. This full-time, on-site role requires 3-7 years of experience in project engineering with expertise in E3 or EPLAN, and advanced knowledge of electrical design for excitation systems or LV drives.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a design authority for an engineering discipline of low to medium complexity.
  • Work on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
  • Apply basic design thinking and design-for-excellence concepts.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
  • Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for engineering projects.
  • Use checklists to perform design verification in accordance with applicable standards and engineering guidelines.

Requirements

  • Commitment to project engineering, with a focus on excitation systems.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in project engineering.
  • Direct design experience using E3 or EPLAN.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical design and engineering in excitation or LV drives.
  • Keen interest in customer management.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.

Desired Qualifications

  • Diploma or B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics, EEE, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication.
