Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth product and process knowledge of responsible technologies and global supply base.
- Negotiate component engineering changes to avoid cost creep and improve project objectives.
- Execute all purchasing-related activities for product/project development within specified projects and Autoliv Production Development System requirements.
- Support cross-functional team initiatives for lead time reduction, cost improvements, and supply vulnerability improvements.
- Procure all pre-production, production, and prototype components through SOP.
- Maintain accurate costed bill of materials and tooling costs through change management from phase zero through SOP.
Requirements
- English speaking and writing skills.
- 4-year degree with Supply Chain Management, Business, Materials, or technical educational background.
- Project and/or Commodity Purchasing experience at a Tier One Automotive Supplier.
- Willingness to support global projects at times.

- Travel is 10 – 20 %.
