Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in separation equipment products and applications.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance offerings, such as training and condition audits.
  • Collaborate with Service Sales and Field Service teams to implement value-added services.
  • Support the Service Sales team as a business partner and sales enabler for separation equipment.
  • Directly support customers, including making visits and presentations to offer customized value propositions.
  • Act as a cluster trainer, defining and delivering training programs for employees, channels, and customers.
  • Champion new service products during their launch.
  • Serve as a visible technical expert, troubleshooting complex issues, discussing products and applications, and promoting the Alfa Laval brand.
  • Develop analysis methods to determine equipment and process reliability.
  • Analyze data from connected equipment to identify reliability problems and recommend improvements.
  • Generate leads and opportunities in OneCRM for service sales follow-up.
  • Learn and utilize multiple Alfa Laval information technology systems.
  • Travel estimated up to 40%.

Requirements

  • Diploma/associate degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of rotating equipment or related industrial equipment experience.
  • Strong product knowledge and/or application experience with decanter centrifuges.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and suggest solutions to process problems.
  • Excellent customer interaction and engagement skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to use and learn Service digital tools.
  • Team player with the ability to relate to people at all levels.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with international colleagues.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated with a determined work ethic.
  • Structured and organized approach.
