Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to estimate impacts and improve engagement.
- Enhance products by evaluating metrics and user feedback, developing self-service dashboards.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends for recommendation system improvement.
- Build a business health metrics system to identify root causes of metric changes.
- Conduct business modeling to identify growth opportunities and initiate projects with positive ROI.
- Design and conduct A/B tests to evaluate algorithm performance.
- Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience OR Master's Degree AND 5+ years data-science experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years data science experience OR equivalent experience.
- Experience managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques, and reporting results.
- Knowledge on big data processing from raw events to metrics and insights (PySpark/Scala).
- Knowledge of Content ecosystem, Ads and online shopping metrics.
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience OR Master's Degree AND 8+ years data-science experience OR Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years data science experience OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience in data science modeling, statistics, analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven business strategy.
- Previous product analytics, web analytics and/or content analytics experience.
- Interpersonal communication skills and ability to leverage data to tell a story.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management ability including effective prioritization, clear and concise communication, and delivery of actionable data-driven insights.

- Competitive base pay range: USD $142,800 - $274,800 (US) or USD $188,000 - $304,200 (SF/NYC).
