Responsibilities
- Lead overall factory performance, including output, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Value Stream Managers and their teams.
- Align manufacturing execution with supply chain priorities and customer commitments.
- Ensure consistent and effective production planning, sequencing, and execution across value streams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement using lean methodologies and structured problem-solving.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, uptime, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams.
- Support effective inventory and workflow management to optimise throughput and reduce delays.
- Create an environment of accountability, transparency, and proactive communication.
- Champion employee engagement, development, and inclusive team practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience leading manufacturing or operations teams in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, performance metrics, and delivery commitments.
- Proven ability to lead through others, including layered team structures.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainable improvement.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement approaches such as lean or similar methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing complex manufacturing operations or technical product environments.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards.
- Experience with structured continuous improvement approaches (e.g., TPM, 5S, or equivalent).
- Understanding of safety, quality, and operational performance frameworks.
- Background in engineering, operations, or supply chain disciplines.
