Emerson is seeking a Material Handler III for their Olive Branch, MS distribution center. This full-time, on-site role involves operating powered equipment like reach trucks and pallet jacks for stocking, replenishing, and picking orders. The position requires a High School diploma, 6 months of warehouse experience, and forklift operation skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Move product within the warehouse using motorized equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order selectors, reach lifts).
- Stock incoming items, replenish flow racks, and pick orders using RF equipment.
- Create cartons and labels prior to shipping.
- Maintain productivity minimum standards with a sense of urgency.
- Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Replenish orders as necessary to support operations.
- Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments.
- Maintain safe actions on and off equipment in compliance with safety rules/regulations.
- Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 6 months previous warehouse experience.
- Previous reach lift experience.
- Previous shipping/receiving/material handling experience.
- Ability to operate forklift in a safe manner.
- Able to lift parts weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work quickly meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Must pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts.
- Must pass a non-DOT physical exam.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Previous RF equipment experience to move product.
- Strong team work skills with a proven track record to collaborate in fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience and ability to cross-functionally work in different areas.
